Dr. Roukema is passionate about dentistry and is dedicated to providing high-quality and comfortable dental care to his patients. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a minor study in biology from the University of Northern Colorado, he completed his dental training at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduation, he moved to Albuquerque to receive an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. In 2019, Dr. Roukema completed postdoctoral training through the Dawson Academy focusing on complex dental problems involving esthetics, occlusal problems, TMJ issues, and advanced restorative care.
Dr. Roukema strongly believes in developing trusting relationships with his patients, focusing on their overall oral health, and the value of prevention and regular maintenance. Recognizing that individual situations require different options, Dr. Roukema works with his patients to develop comprehensive treatment goals and can provide a full range of services in the office from cleanings and simple fillings to complex reconstructive cases, dental implants, crowns, bridges, extractions, and Invisalign.
